hahah. i'm goin to make this entry quite interesting with photos! lol. well apparently there was lab today and there wasn't much stuff to do so we were rather free towards the end of it while waiting for dismissal. and my friends and i decided to sneak to the toilet with our lab coats on (when lab coats are strictly not allowed at any point outside the lab) but they didn't notice today. hahah. and so yes. we managed to take photos in our lab coats! :D how dumb can. lol. i've pending photos of the petri dishes of bacteria which haven't arrived in my inbox yet. heh.

and soo.. here goes!

now i've one lab report due next week and another one will come in after my chem lab next week. GOSH! :/



my desk is in a total mess right now but i can't help it. hahahah.

thats excluding the two bloody thick texts i have stacked somewhere else. gosh. this is how school's like for me alright? hahah you get the idea. but im not studying THAT much la. since you get to see me online almost every night that explains it. hahaha. in other words, im quite dead when CA comes :/

and i must agree to what collen said to me today. that our blogs quite dead. because people are so busy with school and stuff they don't have the time to either update or to read. well maybe i might end up resigning like what Sua did. only in a more subtle way. like lesser and lesser entries by the day. hur. we'll see.

but anyway to keep it alive i shall sacrifice some of my time to type a few sentences. i don't really have the time to type long entries like i used to do. and i do feel sad about it.
well you shld know by now i'm already in the 3rd week of school and everything is in full swing. omg.. doesn't feel like i've been in NUS for almost a month! :/ but i'm rather glad that some of my tuts are scheduled on alternate weeks leaving me with more free time (ie. more breathing space too!) soon the CAs will come and i'd probably be slaughtered alive. hahah.

yeah just know i'm doing okay and that is all that matters eh? :D

exactly one week since i last updated. wow how time flies! i've decided to update once a week unless there's any other happening stuff which i think is worth an entry. so yupp! my blog isn't dead, neither will it be really active.

and so! my first week at school just went by. nothing really significant (since it's just school). lectures were okayy and kinda boring at times since they're mostly introductory lectures and what the lecturers did was only give a brief outline of the module and went abit into the syllabus. tutorials and lab sessions will only begin in the week of the 27th. so yeah. i'm still in honeymoon period. lol.

in fact i just had my first bio practical yesterday! well not exactly a practical because it was a Biodiversity module so we went on a field trip along some ulu Kent Ridge Road behind NUS exploring certain kinds of flora and fauna. and we had a short 12min test after that based on what we've covered during the field trip. and i thought it wasn't all that bad. heh.

but i must say university is definitely quite a big transition. i'm still in the midst of adjusting to the timetable and stuff we've to get done ourselves before each lecture. stuff like printing of notes online and all. because seriously all the lecturers are loading EVERYTHING they're going to do online. and it's quite irritating especially when they do it rather last minute! oh the bane of technology. hahah. but i'm getting used to it.

so yupp! thats about my first week. nothing much actually. and i'd better enjoy this 2weeks before lectures, tutorials and lab sessions go into full swing. i'll be pretty busy by then i presume. sucks. hahah. HONEYMOOON!

recently im kinda re-addicted to Angel In Disguise by Corrinne May and Patience by Take That. no idea why. beautiful lyrics i guess. ah well.

oh! and the fireworks display yesterday night and tonight was just AWESOME! i was so privileged because i got to watch it from the comfort of my own home. how cool is that. lol. thats not the main point. it was really spectacular!

but anyway to end off, say goodbye to the old me! (:

while Collen and i were escaping from the sun for awhile, i met Cais at the Marketplace! what a beautiful coincidence! (:


while the others were cheering out in the hot weather we were skiving at Mos Burger sipping Iced Milk Tea. HAHAH.

all the bidding hassle is over. dammit. i bet no year 1 was sane during the past few days. the bids were crazy. NUS should really review this system sometime soon. it isn't really working really well. and it's especially unfair for freshmen with lesser points to compete for GEM and SS modules with the seniors! grr.

goes to *drumroll* MR. SUA NING! with a record of 4times!

as cheesy as this may sound, he is the record holder of wishing me Happy Birthday everyday for one week.

HOWEVER, this record is nothing to be proud of for he did it because he forgot my birthday, hence not wishing me on the actual day itself. all out of guilt. tsktsk.

therefore, i strongly encourage this record to remain as it is as i wouldn't really appreciate people forgetting my birthday on purpose next year just to break this record! :D
